I wrote “Shark” when I was 16 — maybe my first real adult song.

I recorded this track again and again over the years, and somehow every decade turns it into a different song. The meaning shifts. The voice changes. But something inside it keeps staring back at me.

Maybe songs are not finished when we release them.
Maybe they keep aging with us.
